현직 철학 교수들로 이루어진 밴드를 발견했습니다. 라인업이 꽤 빵빵하네요.
크리스 맥다니엘이 주축인 것 같습니다..
(예전에 맥다니엘과 브래들리가 쓴 "Desire"라는 논문을 읽은 적이 있는데 원래 둘이 죽이 좀 맞나 보군요)
한두 개 정도 밖에 안들어 봤지만, 음악 성향은 챠머스의 쟘비 블루스처럼 정통 록 계열은 뭔가 아닌 것 같고 듣다보면 기분이 묘해지는 음악을 추구하는 것 같습니다.
가사가 굉장히 철학적입니다. "어떤 의미"에서요.
아래는 "The Desire"라는 노래의 가사입니다. (크리스 맥다니엘의 단독 작품인 것 같네요.
